  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 package wonton wrappers

For the Spicy Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Wonton Filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well until evenly combined.
  2. Assemble the Wontons:
    • Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface.
    • Place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper.
    • Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half, forming a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
    • Bring the two bottom corners of the triangle together and seal with a little water. Repeat until all the filling is used.
  3. Cook the Wontons:
    • Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
    • Carefully add the wontons to the boiling water and cook until they float to the surface, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Prepare the Spicy Sauce:
    • While the wontons are cooking, mix together soy sauce, chili oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil in a bowl. Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
  5. Serve:
    • Once the wontons are cooked, drain them and place them in a serving dish.
    • Pour the spicy sauce over the wontons, ensuring they are well coated.
    • Garnish with chopped green onions.
  6. Enjoy:
    • Serve your Spicy Wontons hot and enjoy the delicious combination of flavors!

Note: Feel free to adjust the level of spiciness and experiment with additional ingredients like garlic or cilantro to suit your taste.
